My Camp Reflection.

Waka Ama/Camp Reflection

What did we do at camp?

1.Drove to Karitane on the bus

2.Went on wakas and planted flax.

3.Went for a walk in a pa.

4.Got pizza for dinner.

5.Played games and watched a movie.

6.Stayed the night in the hall .

7.Finished movie.

8.Played capture the flag.

What was the most challenging part of camp?

Getting to sleep in the hall.

To make camp better, I think I would change or add?

I think I would add spotlight and play other games instead of watching a movie.

How do I feel about camp now that I have been on this camp? Would you like to go to another school camp?

I feel good about camps since I have been on overnight schools camps since year 3 and I can not wait to go on another in year eight.

What was the best activity? Describe why you thought it was the best.

I think the wakas was the best activity because we learned lots of facts and we got to go on a actual waka.

Describe one thing that you learnt while on camp

I learnt about the Karitane pa and all the legends and stories that happened in and around it.

Week #29 (19) 100 Word Challenge.

“Hurry up Sammy we’re not supposed to be  here,” pleaded Charlie.”Just wait, okay, I just have to melt this pipe,”retaliated Sammy. The pair were crouched down in a steamy brown subway tunnel illuminated only by the weak lights on their cellphones. The pipe was long and skinny like the neck of a giraffe and was pure silver, shimmering from the heat of Sammy’s greasy blowtorch. The flickering flame coming of the blowtorch looked lethal. The pipe was half melted with little flacks of excess that looked like salt .”It’s down I melted it, dad will be so proud,”suddenly the police lights appeared.

My reflection.

Hey guys, Molly here. This is my last task for the student blogging challenge 😫😢😭 boooo.

I will be writing a reflection on how I participated and what I enjoyed.

At first I was pretty intimidated about the idea of doing challenges and writing posts for the whole world to see and comment.Although I have never gotten any negative comments I still read my posts over and over again making sure there to the best of my abilities.

I have written 21 fun filled posts and received 53 comments. We usually do are blogging during reading I am always excited to start reading the tasks and all the cool the advice that comes with them.Blogging has come easy to me over the couple of weeks and I can’t imagine a school day without it.

I really hope Kathleen Morris continues with this program as it makes all my school days extremely fun.
